Frequently Asked Questions
Will I have to follow a restrictive diet?
Not necessarily. I focus on creating realistic and sustainable strategies that fit your lifestyle, preferences and goals. For many women, eating more consistently, prioritising protein, improving sleep and supporting blood sugar balance can make a significant difference compared to yo-yo dieting.
However, everyone is different. Some clients thrive with greater flexibility, while others prefer a more structured meal plan with clear guidelines and targets to help them stay accountable and remove decision fatigue. During your initial consultation, we'll discuss your previous experiences, personality, preferences and goals to determine the approach that is most likely to feel achievable and sustainable for you.
I've tried everything and still can't lose weight. Can you help?
Many clients come to me feeling frustrated after trying multiple diets, supplements or exercise programs without achieving the results they were hoping for. Rather than focusing solely on calories, we explore factors such as hormones, sleep, stress and nervous system function, gut health, insulin sensitivity and nutrient status that may be influencing your progress.
I encourage clients to keep an open mind throughout the process. Weight and metabolism are complex, and there are often additional factors, strategies or areas of support that haven't yet been explored, or previous approaches that may not have been implemented in a way that was realistic, sustainable or personalised. My role is to help identify these opportunities and create a plan that feels achievable and tailored to you.
Is this just about weight loss?
Absolutely not. While some women wish to lose weight, many simply want to improve their energy, feel more comfortable in their bodies, maintain muscle mass, age well and reduce their future risk of conditions such as insulin resistance, cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis.
